[this is good] and you wouldn't have to worry about Orange or Vodaphone banning your UK 020 numbers ! How do Orange know what a "standard 020 number" is anyway ?

That's a good question, and that's the beauty of using an standard 020 number for this kind of services, and for the convenience of the users.
